Obtaining our codice fiscale and opening an Italian bank account were the initial bureaucratic challenges Lisa guided us through. Next was the introduction to the services of a Geometra and a Notaio, two professions whose input is essential when buying a property in Italy but unfamiliar to us from the UK. More recognisable, however, and not unlike the process at home, were the bursts of activity followed by sustained periods when nothing seemed to be happening; Lisa was always available to reassure us by email or phone that all was on track and to advise us when the next stage payment was due or where our signature was required on official paperwork. Our confidence in Lisa’s abilities, administrative and language skills was evidenced by us giving her short-term power of attorney to act on our behalf at the Notary’s office at the point of purchase completion and exchange of property documents. Wir haben uns im Mai 2012 zum Erwerb einer Neubau Immobilie in Toscolano-Maderno entschlossen. Mit der ersten Besichtigung des Grundstücks hatten wir im Gespräch einen so guten Eindruck erhalten, dass wir spontan dem Kauf zugesagt haben. Während der Bauphase wurden wir immer mit Fotos und aktuellen Informationen über den Baufortschritt auf dem Laufenden gehalten. Lisa organisierte Termine mit dem Fliesenhändler, dem Sanitärfachgeschäft, dem Einrichtungshaus, wo wir alle persönlichen Wünsche realisieren lassen konnten. Immer hatte Lisa ein offenes Ohr für unsere Wünsche und Bedürfnisse.
Lisas Anliegen ist nicht nur das Vermitteln einer Immobilie, sondern auch die Betreuung der neuen Eigentümer bis zum Bezug der Wohnung. Ihr Engagement und Ihre Hilfsbereitschaft sind unübertroffen.

Für uns ist der Norden Italiens mit seinen Seen einer der schönsten Plätze, um Urlaub mit hohem Erholungswert zu machen. Deshalb reifte über Jahre die Idee, dort ein Apartment in einer kleinen Anlage mit Pool zu erwerben. Wir suchten über 2 Jahre hinweg ohne nennenswerten Erfolg, bis wir schließlich mit Hilfe von Lisa und Mauro ein genau zu uns passendes Objekt in bester Lage finden konnten. Immer wurde wir in der Folge professionell unterstützt, sowohl bei rechtlichen wir auch kaufmännischen Fragen. Die Antwortzeiten waren kurz und die Kommunikation unkompliziert, so dass wir jede Klippe bis zum Kaufabschluss, auch ohne italienische Sprachkenntnisse, erfolgreich meistern konnten. 

We first visited Lake Garda for our initial viewing trip in February; in May we signed the contract and in June we had our first holiday in our new apartment, which lived up to all our expectations. The professional service Lisa provided included arranging the viewings, negotiation with the seller, liaison with the notary and translator together with general advice on how the buying process works in Italy.
Garda is a great area with a fantastic range of activities from watersports to hill walking, sun bathing and shopping, so we are looking forward to many more trips.
